You Are Not Alone

More Support. More Ease. More Life to Enjoy.

If you are watching a parent or loved one struggle with things that used to feel simple — getting dressed, keeping up with medications, preparing meals, or staying steady at home — the concern can quietly build over time. You want them to be safe and supported, but you also want them to keep their dignity and sense of self.

Moving to personal care is not about taking independence away. At Fieldstone, it is about making daily life feel lighter again. When the burden of chores, medications, meals, and constant worry is lifted, your loved one can spend more time enjoying friendships, conversation, favorite routines, and the simple comforts that make a day feel good.

The right support can do more than make life safer. It can help your loved one feel more social, more comfortable, and more like themselves again.

Our team helps with the daily essentials — medication management, bathing support, housekeeping, meals, and more — so your loved one can focus less on what is hard and more on what brings comfort, connection, and enjoyment.

Knowing When to Act

Signs It May Be Time to Consider Personal Care

Every family’s situation is unique, but these are some of the most common signs that extra support could improve safety, ease, and quality of life.

Daily Activities Are Getting Harder

When bathing, dressing, grooming, or keeping up with medications starts to feel like a daily struggle, it may be time for more consistent support than family alone can realistically provide.

Clutter, skipped chores, unopened mail, or difficulty keeping up with the home can be signs that living alone is becoming more stressful and less safe.

It is common for older adults living alone to lose interest in cooking or not have the energy to shop and prepare balanced meals. Weight loss, low energy, or a bare kitchen can point to the need for more support.

Missing doses, taking the wrong medication, or feeling confused about prescriptions can create serious health risks. The right daily support can make medication routines safer and far less stressful.

When someone is spending more time alone, doing less, and getting out less often, it can affect both emotional and physical well-being. A connected community can help restore routine, conversation, and belonging.

When caregiving is affecting work, sleep, family life, or your own well-being, it is a sign that more help is needed. Asking for support is not giving up. It is a loving decision that helps everyone breathe easier.

Our Approach

The Fieldstone Personal Care Difference

Fieldstone is designed to support independence while making daily life feel easier, warmer, and more enjoyable. Here is what sets our personal care community apart.

Invisible Support, Maximum Independence

Our support is designed to help when it is needed without taking over daily life. Residents enjoy private apartments, personal routines, and the confidence of knowing help is always close by.

A Team That Knows Seniors Well

Unlike most communities, we require comprehensive senior care training for every single employee — from our culinary team to our maintenance staff. Every interaction your loved one has throughout their day is positive, attentive, and professionally informed.

Boutique Community, Never Institutional

Fieldstone is a carefully designed, neighborhood-like community — not a large institutional facility. With warm common spaces, an open-kitchen dining room, outdoor lounges, and a full-service salon, residents feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Wellness Support That Meets People Where They Are

In partnership with BAYADA Home Health Care, our wellness programs are developed by certified professionals who understand the science of senior health. From fall-prevention classes to strength training tailored to your loved one’s mobility level, staying active is safe, effective, and enjoyable.

Licensed Nurses On-Site 24 Hours a Day

Peace of mind is not an add-on — it is standard. Our licensed nurses are on-site around the clock, supported by visiting primary care physicians, on-site rehabilitation services, and professional medication management. Your loved one’s health is always in expert hands.

A Real Partnership With Families

You remain an essential part of your loved one’s care team. We provide consistent communication, welcome family visits in our inviting common spaces, and collaborate with you on personalized care planning. Our community relations team is always available to answer your questions.

Transparent Pricing

One Simple Monthly Fee. More Comfort Built In.

Personal care at Fieldstone is designed to be flexible and tailored to each resident’s needs. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, pricing is built around three components:

  • A daily base rate for your apartment and lifestyle
  • A care program based on the level of support needed
  • Additional services and amenities as needed

This ensures families only pay for the care and medication management their loved one actually needs.

Private Apartment

Spacious, well-appointed living spaces with full kitchens, full-size refrigerators, and 100% private bathrooms — a true home, not a room.

Chef-Prepared Dining

Locally-inspired, restaurant-style meals served in a family-style dining room with open kitchens. Every meal is an experience, not just nourishment.

Personalized Daily Support

Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management — delivered with dignity, on your loved one’s schedule, not ours.

Wellness & Enrichment

A full calendar of fitness classes, social events, arts, music, and interest-driven experiences — all developed with certified wellness professionals from BAYADA.

Transportation Services

Scheduled group transportation and private transportation within a 10-mile radius, plus coordinated trips to popular local destinations and appointments.

Housekeeping & Utilities

Regular housekeeping, laundry services, and all utilities included. No hidden fees, no multiple bills — just one simple, transparent monthly cost.

Ways families help offset the cost

While senior living is a private pay investment, many families are surprised to learn there are meaningful ways to offset costs and make planning more manageable. Depending on your situation, a significant portion of monthly expenses may be tax-deductible, and additional financial support options may be available.

Our team can help you understand which of these options may apply to your situation and guide you through the next steps.

Tax Deductions

A substantial portion of monthly rent and 100% of care costs may be tax-deductible, depending on your situation

VA Aid & Attendance benefit

Eligible veterans and spouses may qualify for a monthly benefit that can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs

Long-term care insurance

Many policies can be applied toward personal care or memory care services

We Have Answers

Questions Families Ask Most

Choosing personal care raises important questions. Here are straightforward answers to what families ask us most often.

Personal care (also called assisted living) is designed for seniors who are mostly independent but need help with some daily tasks — like bathing, dressing, medication management, or meals. Unlike a nursing home, personal care is not a medical facility. It is a home-like community where residents live in their own private apartments, set their own schedules, and enjoy a full social life, with professional support available whenever they need it.

Personal care is best suited for seniors who need help with daily activities but do not require constant supervision or specialized dementia care. If your loved one is experiencing significant memory loss, confusion, wandering, or behavioral changes related to dementia or Alzheimer’s, our Compass Memory Care™ program may be a better fit. Our care team is happy to walk through your loved one’s specific situation with no pressure or obligation.

Absolutely. Family visits are not just welcomed — they are encouraged. Our inviting common spaces, dining room, and outdoor lounges are designed for family gatherings. You remain an essential part of your loved one’s care team, and our community relations team is always available to answer questions, share updates, and collaborate on care planning.

Transitions take time, and that is completely normal. Our team is experienced in helping new residents feel at home — from personalizing their apartment to connecting them with neighbors who share similar interests. Most families tell us their loved one was far more comfortable, engaged, and social within the first few weeks than they expected. We support both the resident and the family throughout the entire process.

Quite the opposite. Our philosophy is that personal care should give independence back, not take it away. When the burden of daily chores, medication management, and home upkeep is lifted, residents have more energy and freedom to do the things they love. Residents set their own daily routines, come and go as they please, and live in their own fully private apartments.

Personal care pricing is flexible and tailored to each resident. The base rate includes the apartment, meals, housekeeping, utilities, and community amenities. Care is then added based on the level of support needed, along with optional services like medication management, technology, and personal laundry. This approach keeps costs aligned with your loved one’s needs.

Personal care and assisted living are private pay services and are not covered by Medicare.

However, Medicare may cover short-term rehabilitation services such as physical or occupational therapy following a qualified hospital stay. These services are typically provided through third-party providers, such as BAYADA, and are separate from the cost of living in the community.

Our team is happy to help you understand how these pieces fit together so you can plan with clarity and confidence.

We regularly review and update each resident’s care plan as needs evolve. If a higher level of support becomes necessary — including a transition to our Compass Memory Care™ program — we work closely with your family to make that next step feel as smooth and supported as possible.
